The HMT-S6 is our new product for separating carbide bars and HSS. The different loading and removal area options enables you to create a machine specially tailored to your customers’ requirements. The option to load the machine from the outside either manually by hand, optionally by robots or by using a lift loading unit leads to no downtimes, and also means that the machine can mass produce. Furthermore, you have the option to make optimum use of the bar, thanks to different cutting lengths. The best tried-and-tested P&S separation technology is installed.

Technical Specifications

Loading

Blanks are inserted manually or automatically into the external magazine
Bar length min. 60 mm - max. 500 mm, cutting length of min. 5 mm - max. 490 mm (one-sided)
Enter the length and number of units required on the touch screen
Start the machine
The external magazine moves into the machine, lays the bars down in the internal magazine out and moves back into the home position. Then, the external magazine can be reloaded during the separation process.

Separation and removal

The bars are automatically lifted into the prism, then positioned and separated
Once the separation process is complete, the separated blanks are conveyed into the removal area. Then, sections are sorted out and the accepted parts are rolled off into a collecting pan/basin via a swing prism or on a conveyor belt
