The HMT-S6 is our new machine for separating carbide bars and HSS. A range of loading and removal options lets us tailor the machine to your requirements. The machine can be loaded externally by hand, robot or lift loader, avoiding downtime and enabling series production. Different cutting lengths also help make optimum use of each bar. The machine features tried-and-tested P&S separation technology.

Loading

Insert blanks into the external magazine manually or automatically.
Bar length: min. 60 mm – max. 500 mm
Cutting length: min. 5 mm – max. 490 mm (one-sided)
Enter the required length and quantity on the touchscreen.
Start the machine.
The external magazine moves into the machine, places the bars in the internal magazine and returns to its home position. It can then be reloaded while separation continues.

Separation and removal

The bars are automatically lifted into the prism, positioned and separated.
After separation, the blanks are conveyed to the removal area. Sections are sorted out, and accepted parts are discharged via a swing prism into a collecting pan or onto a conveyor belt.
Further transport can be tailored to customer requirements.
