The HMT-S5 complements our product line for separating carbide, HSS and ceramic in smaller batches and special applications. Its modular design offers a range of options for tailoring the machine to customer requirements. All variants feature tried-and-tested P&S separation technology.

Technical specifications

Variant 01 – Single cut

• Insert the blank into the prism by hand.
• Bar diameter: Ø 1–40 mm
• Bar length: max. 500 mm
• Cutting length: min. 5 mm – max. 490 mm (one-sided)
• Adjust the length stop using the handwheel and display.
• Close the protective door and start the machine.
• The blank is cut and the machine returns to its home position.

Variant 02 – Sequential cut

• Insert the blank into the prism by hand.
• Bar diameter: Ø 1–40 mm
• Bar length: max. 500 mm
• Cutting length: min. 5 mm – max. 490 mm (one-sided), depending on output
• Enter the required length and quantity on the touchscreen.
• The servo X-axis positions the bar automatically.
• Close the protective door and start the machine.
• Once the specified job is complete, the machine returns to its home position.

Variant 03 – Magazine operation

• Insert blanks into the magazine by hand (19 pieces).
• Bar diameter: Ø 1–21 mm; Ø 21–40 mm without magazine operation
• Bar length: max. 500 mm
• Cutting length: min. 5 mm – max. 490 mm (one-sided), depending on output
• Enter the required length and quantity on the touchscreen.
• The servo X-axis positions the bar automatically.
• Close the protective door and start the machine.
• Once the specified job is complete, the machine returns to its home position.
