- Working hours:
40 hours a week, 7:00 to 16:00 daily - Uniform is provided, laundry is undertaken by an external company for a small fee
Vocational school in Roding
1 day a week; 14 further days in the first and second year of training, then 1 day a week.

Craftsmanship, technical understanding and a passion for accuracy.
A large part of this profession is CNC technology. The CNC machines are programmed using
different machine languages. Computer skills are therefore
imperative.
Apprenticeship Process:
1st year of training
Filing, drilling, tapping, testing, measuring
Marking, graining, marking
Maintenance of machines
Sawing with the associated materials science
Occupational safety and environmental protection
2nd year of training
Machining; drilling, turning and milling on conventional machines
Planning and preparation of work processes based on technical drawings
Surface grinding
Soldering and heat treatment
Grinding on the trestle
3rd year of training
Programming CNC machines
Machining workpieces on CNC machines
Assembling and dissassembling machines, systems or their units
Checking and setting functions
Setting up and testing hydraulic and pneumatic controls
